Come on by the Haiti Communitere base on Saturday, March 31st for a day of networking and idea sharing. Many of our partner organizations will be showcasing their work in Haiti, and HC will provide information on services available at the Resource Center.

12.03.12 Artisan Showcase
Haiti is full of talented and innovative artists who often just lack the appropriate channels for advertising and selling their work. Recognizing this gap, a few Haiti Communitere volunteers decided to start working with local Haitian artisans to sell their products at the Haiti Communitere base.
08.03.12 Solar Fire
Lorin Symington of Toronto came to Haiti on February 1, 2012 to introduce Solar Fire cook stoves to the country, and has since begun constructing solar cookers in the Haiti Communitere workshop. For the next few months the Haiti Communitere resource center will serve as Lorin’s base of operations for solar cooker manufacture and trainings.
